Northfielders have a chance to get up close and personal with a ZENN (Zero Emissions No Noise) car this Saturday, November 10th between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Just Food Co-op (516 Water St. S.).
The all-electric ZENN gets the claimed equivalent of 245 miles per gallon at an operating cost of about one to two cents per mile, can travel up to 35 miles on a charge at speeds up to 25 mph, provides most of the comforts of a “real” car, and is kinda cute to boot. I was in Minneapolis yesterday and had a chance to test drive a ZENN and talk with a sales rep at the primary ZENN retailer in Minnesota, Cushman Motor Company (2909 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis). Cushman’s sales rep will be at the co-op with the vehicle.
I came away favorably impressed, and encourage folks to check out this in-town-travel alternative to the internal combustion carbon dioxide spewer that we all rely on too much.

I’d have love to have read about driving impressions about this car. I am interested in this automobile, but I have yet to hear more than a slight commentary on those that have driven it.
Thank you
